SALES SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE

Job Overview

Our client has provided global freight forwarding, warehousing, logistics & customs clearance services since 1968. Currently they are looking for a new colleague, a driven Sales support representative for their office in Spain. You will have a good opportunity to further develop your career and grow with them.

 

Main duties will involve:

  • You will be offering a broad sales support to their team in Spain
  • Preparing daily list of companies that should be contacted via cold calls
  • Conducting daily cold calls – as much as possible, more and more in order to attract new business
  • You know how to sell and close deals
  • Managing the agenda by planning/executing appointments with new customers/prospects
  • Filling in and maintaining our client database up to date
  • With time, you will also be asked to lead by the example and start building your own team and structure
  • Preparing and presenting various monthly reports
  • You will report to the Country Manager of our office in Spain

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Experienced in freight forwarding market (form 2 to 4 years)
  • You have an advanced knowledge of Spain and it market and good knowledge of English and Spanish languages, both written and spoken
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A born networker, not afraid to pick up the phone and connect with potential customers and meet them
  • Sociable person and have excellent communication skills
  • You are able to work independently and manage multiple tight deadlines, time management skills
  • A team player with the needed flexibility and willingness to learn new skills
  • Proactive, well-organized and detail-oriented
