KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER

Job Overview

Our client is an international company specialized in the handling of all temperature-controlled cargo. Their services encompass any destination around the world and cover every stage of the logistics chain, by land, sea, and air. Now they are looking for suitable candidates for the position of Key Account Manager. Key Account Manager is a person responsible for designing logistical solutions for the clients, developing new business, and creating strategies to sell the company’s services.

Responsibilities:

  • Securing new leads and new accounts. Maintaining and developing existing accounts
  • Consistently increasing gross profit and achieving targets
  • Providing a high level of internal and external customer care
  • Providing customers with accurate and cost-effective quotations
  • Following up on customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Preparing monthly figures of sales activity as instructed by the Branch Manager

Proficiency requirements:

  • Any related bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales in freight forwarding, experience in following sectors will be a plus: dry/import/vegetables/fruits/rail
  • Strong organization skills and proven precision are required in quotation elaboration
  • Understanding of incoterms and their application to the transportation cost structure for import & export operations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience in working with targets and deadlines
  • Experience in using digital pricing tools and internal pricing platforms
  • Familiar and flexible in using CRM, Microsoft office tools
  • Advanced English level
